Five Continents Cricket Club is a cricket team that has a long and proud history. Founded in 1980, the club has played a vital role in the development and promotion of cricket in different parts in Austria. The team has been comprised of players from different continents, including Asia and Europe making it a truly global team.
Five Continents Cricket Club has not only been successful on the field but has also off the ground promoting cricket. Even today, the club continues to promote cricket. With a rich history and a bright future ahead, the Five Continents Cricket Club is a team that has made significant contribution to the sport of cricket and will continue to do so for years to come.
The club started as a small group of enthusiasts who shared a passion for cricket. Initially, the team played friendly matches against other local clubs. As the team started to grow in popularity, they began to participate in local country domestic tournaments, often facing other teams which had players from different parts of the world. The team’s success was attributed to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork which paved the path for hundreds of officials matches in Austria.
FCCC has won the domestic title three times. The club has potentials players and offers a wide range of playing possibilities for all type of cricket tournaments. Over the years, the team continued to participate in various tournaments and starting 2023 the club is also organizing tournaments at domestic level in Austria.
